Teen team headshots has officially happened! It’s obvious but ya girl went with a bright blue backdrop and i’m obsessed! I knew I would love it but I had no idea just how much happiness it would bring me. It literally just want to smile looking at these teen studio headshots.
Typically I talk more about my photoshoots but today we are talking about the photoshoot and goals!
We are going to start with goals because i’m really excited about the growth I have already made this year. Setting goals are so very important. But more important than setting your goal is staying on top of your goal. This year I set an initial goal for my studio to have 20 team members this year! That was a big goal and I didn’t believe I would achieve that goal. My senior team is now complete with 17 members and my teen team is complete with 4 team members! Yup! I went over my goal! What I have leaned from this experience is that it didn’t happen by accident. I kept my goal at the front of my mind and I had not one but two successful launches. Eeeeeek!
The team team is made up of two 7th graders and 2 sophomore’s! The team is very unique in that Maggie is back for her second time being on the teen team. Lilli, I have known since she was in kindergarten. I have wanted to photographer her for years! Kiera is a newbie but I already know just from meeting her the one day we are going to create amazing images this year! Tiana is also a newbie and is driving from Indianapolis. My clients that make an hour or more drive to me, literally humble me because it shows me the impact that social media can do for our small business.
The studio headshots was a quick introduction into me and its an opportunity for me to see their personalities. A little photographer secret for me the first 5 mins of me taking their pictures i’m more focused on their mannerism than actually taking pictures. I want to always find poses that they are naturally going to fall into, these seems the most real for me and is the quickest way to start getting their personality to shine.
