Details, Details and more Details! Have I told you I love shooting details of modern weddings. This modern wedding definitely had lots of details, and I was in heaven! From the beautiful fall backdrop of fall colors that Jackson Estates provided from their outdoor wedding ceremony. The couples bridal portraits, to the gorgeous fall bouquets. And who could forget the beautiful center pieces and wedding cake at their reception. This wedding was by far my favorite, It had everything that I love and wanted to photograph. Amy didn’t leave any detail out, she thought of it all.

Modern Weddings in my opinion places an emphasis on the classic, drawing inspiration from the timeless appeal of matrimony itself, but with the flavor of today. One of the 2 biggest reason why I love shooting modern weddings are 1 they can be outdoors. There is something about an outdoor wedding, and from a photographer stand point the light if planned just right is to die for! My second reason for loving modern weddings is for the details. Traditional wedding years ago, didn’t focus on the details and thus the couple didn’t have any pictures to remind them of their wedding day. I look back at my wedding just 8 years ago, and I don’t have any pictures of my details. Which I know that plays a very big role in why I make sure to provide my bride’s and groom’s with these type of photographs. Your wedding details deserve their own spotlight after all you spend so much time, energy and money on them.

I spend the necessary needed time on details, because my bride’s and groom’s spend a lot of time planning their big day and at the end of the wedding the only thing they will have left is their memory and of course their beautiful wedding pictures. Today’s modern weddings details for me include, flower, rings, dress, getting ready pictures of the bride and groom, venue details like the ceremony and reception site without guest, cake, table centerpieces, And anything that the bride and groom tells me they want photographed that is of importance. These are all in-addition to all the necessary pictures of the wedding day that I already take!
