I have been spending the last 2 weeks preparing for my busy June schedule. Being a Northern Indiana photographer we have a very short window of opportunity to shoot outdoors with beautiful green foliage and flowers. I have started taking full advantage of that by photographing my 2017 model team senior pictures that first month of summer! Once they get out of school in May they will be senior’s! So I take full advantage of that. My 2017 model team will get to enjoy their senior pictures their entire senior year! That might actually be their first experience for being a high school senior! Of course being a Northern Indiana photographer we also get snow! So my 2017 model team have the opportunity to earn a winter photoshoot. I look forward to those shoots as well.

This past winter I had these lovely ladies below come into the studio and spent a few hours shooting their model images! I did something completely different this year. I combined the shoots and did group and individual the same day. I really loved doing that because I got to work with the girls together one on one and as a group. While I was shooting someone one on one they were getting to know each other by just hanging out! We have several other group hangout planned this year! This is the biggest model team I have had to date! It has had it’s challenges but we will figure it out and rise to the top. The 2 biggest challenge I have had is getting all the names down and remembering parents names to copy on emails! That’s fun, but I finally have each girl mom’s name memorized with her daughters! The other biggest challenge has been picking dates! 10+1 photographer and all of our busy schedules can be interesting finding the perfect day for our get togethers.
