KJP Summer Collective Season 5 | A Summer Experience for Girls in Plymouth, Rochester, Culver, Argos, Tippecanoe Valley & Caston

As a Plymouth Indiana senior photographer, I’ve had the privilege of watching so many girls grow up in front of my camera. From middle school friendships to senior portraits, these years pass faster than we realize, which is one of the reasons I created the KJP Summer Collective.

Years ago, when my oldest daughter MaKenna was in 6th grade, I started a small teen photography group. My goal wasn’t simply to take photos. I wanted to create a place where girls could build friendships, gain confidence, create memories, and enjoy these important years before they were gone.

What started with a handful of girls quickly became one of my favorite experiences as both a photographer and a mom.

Today, many of those girls have graduated high school. I’ve photographed their senior portraits, celebrated their milestones, and watched them become incredible young women.

That’s why I’m excited to bring the experience back as the KJP Summer Collective.

What Is the KJP Summer Collective?

The KJP Summer Collective is a summer experience for girls entering grades 8-11 throughout Plymouth, Rochester, Culver, Argos, Tippecanoe Valley, Caston, and the surrounding Northern Indiana communities.

This isn’t a modeling program.

This isn’t a senior team.

It’s a community-focused experience designed to help girls:

• Build confidence
• Make new friendships
• Create lasting memories
• Experience professional photography in a fun and encouraging environment

Season 5 includes:

• A Season 5 Kickoff Party
• Summer Collective Photoshoot
• Community Gallery & Mobile App
• New friendships and unforgettable memories

Only 12 girls will be selected for Season 5.

Why This Plymouth Indiana Senior Photographer Created the Summer Collective

As a mom, I know how quickly these years pass.

A few years ago, I created an album filled with photos from MaKenna’s Teen Team years. Every time I look through it, it brings tears to my eyes.

Not because of the photographs themselves.

Because of the memories.

The friendships.
The laughter.
The experiences.
The confidence she gained.

Those moments matter.

The KJP Summer Collective was created to help girls and families preserve this season of life while they’re still living it.
