In fall of 2021 I got to photograph a nature filled senior destination photoshoot on Saint Joe Michian Beach with Annalise. We started out our mini destination photoshoot on a gorgeous apple tree farm, then went to a friendship garden that I have always wanted to go too! It was really special. Annalise destination photoshoot was literally a dream photoshoot. Annalise challenged me as an artist and i’m so thankful her mom & her walked into my life at just the right time. I didn’t realizer it then but I needed to be challenged, the results is some of my best work of that year.

Annalise is a class of 2022 senior at New Prairie High School. Annalise has recently discovered a love for weightlifting. When Annalise graduates in the spring she wants to join the Air Force. She is most excited about moving somewhere new & meeting new people.

When planning a senior photoshoot weather is one of the things that is out of our control. We try to plan for literally everything, so planning a designation shoot in another city also brings from factors out of our control. When I mentioned above how Annalise shoot was a dream shoot here are some more reasons! Besides as I mentioned in the beginning how this destination shoot challenged me as a artist, there were factors I knew she wanted. Annalise wanted to look natural, not too fancy. She wanted to be surrounded by nature, the beach, water, flowers, and colorful fall leaves. She loved sunsets & neat cloud formations. I knew, I could nail most of her wants. But I knew a big want would be sunset & neat cloud formations. Those are completely out of my control. BUT that day we got all those WANTS! Not only that but her shoot was close to the end of October and should have been way colder than it was. We got so lucky! It was an amazing day!
