So excited to share the first wedding of 2013 with you all on this absolutely gorgeous Monday morning. Elissa and Dustin married on March 16. It was a nice day besides being a little chilly. i always prefer to shoot outside if i can so of course I did talk them into going outside for a brief minute to get some portraits. I’m so glad I did because their wedding and reception was held at the same church so it was so nice to have a different look in some of their pictures. This was the first time I shot both a wedding and ceremony at a church. This is such a great idea for those in the Michiana area to think about when it come to finding your wedding venue for your ceremony and reception sites. It was so nice for us all to know once we arrived we will be set and not have to worry about traveling. I have been quite spoiled this year and last since all of my weddings have been this way. I actually hadn’t thought about that until just now. Back to the beautiful couple! Elissa and Dustin chose to have a first look which I think is a great idea. I was able to capture them seeing each other for the first time and it was so nice for them so share that moment between just the two of them without any distractions.
