Engagement and Wedding Photography | South Bend Indiana and Rochester Indiana Wedding Photographer

I have been gearing up for this weekends engagement session with Meghan and Andres they will be driving up from Indianapolis for me to take their engagement pictures. It will be our last time to take their engagement pictures before the big wedding since Andres will be deployed until the wedding.

Engagement session for me are like test driving a new car. I know, you can’t believe I just said that but really it is. Most of my engagement couples have booked me to be their wedding photographer. So up until that point they have viewed my website perhaps dived into my blog to view more of my work and have contacted me to book their weeding. Most cases their engagement shoot is the first time we have met. I know that is also crazy but most of my clients are all over the state some are from other states to. So it’s not very ideal for them to drive 2 or more hours to meet and pay their deposit. Even though I would love to meet them all in person first because I am always looking for a great excuse to go to my favorite coffee shop Jerretys Place in Rochester Indiana. Ok back to the test drive. Really it is. Looking for a new car you have probably windowed shop, probably priced around you are now ready to take her for a spin. Up until this point you have loved everything and are ready to test the goods. Testing the goods is we’re we get comfortable with the big decision you have already made. It is also were we get comfortable with each other. It’s an ice breaker! Beings in front of the camera can be very intimidating. Trust me I know I have been a bride myself and also feel that way when I have my family pictures taken every year. After all we will be spending most of your wedding day together so I use this time to get to know you both and get you both comfortable with me. So that on your wedding day you are already comfortable with me and we can take some beautiful pictures that you and your husband-to-be can cherish for the rest of your lives.

Gosh the weather in California sure doesn’t disappoint, see below for yourself! They were such a cute couple. You can already tell just by looking at these picture below how much that man adored that beautiful young lady. We all hope to find our prince one day that will look at us just like that. So happy for them!
