I guess it’s safe to say i’m missing the summer heat that we get in Culver, Indiana. Lake Maxinkuckee is a great backdrop for senior photos and a great way to cool down in the summer. Madison and I decided to do something a little different for her senior pictures. Most students usually have their pictures taken on campus at the boarding school of Culver Academies. The students at Culver Academies spends a lot of their time walking around the town of Culver, Indiana. The public beach at Lake Maxinkuckee is right smack the middle of the town and it’s beautiful.
Lake Maxinkuckee Edition: Summer Wardrobe Advice
Students at Culver Academies spends majority of their day in a boarding school uniform, So we wanted to do something a little different. Keeping in mind that these are her senior portraits we didn’t want just a bathing suit. I wanted something with a beach day feel, while keeping is casual. We decided on bathing suit bottoms and a stripped t-shirt. A stripped t-shirt is always a classic and my go to for any wardrobe advice.
Having photographed at this location quite a few times for high school senior pictures. I think it’s safe to say I know the best locations at Lake Maxinkuckee to get those beautiful summer glow senior pictures.
