I have been wanting to write a blog post about why I always suggest to my couples about doing a engagement session and to give you engagement picture ideas for your very own wedding someday. All of my wedding collections come with an engagement shoot. For me engagement pictures are for my couples to have fun, relax and enjoy each others company. It shouldn’t be painful, I know the guys may disagree at first but after the shoot they say that was easy and fun. Engagement shoots are an opportunity for my couples to get comfortable with me and also being in front of the camera, that way on their wedding day they won’t be nervous to be in front of the camera.
This engagement shoot featured in this blog was shot on Perry’s family private property. There was acres of woods and trails. We started off the shoot on a steep hill, a classic Chevy and the couples beautiful son, who also wanted nothing to do with my camera! This Chevy was Perry great grandfather who have since passed. A quote from Perry’s mom “Alan will love this because this includes Perry”great grandpa’s (Perry) . Will definitely bring tears to him. ” I love that I was able to incorporate grandparents into the shoot that are no longer with us. It really touches my heart knowing I have provided this couple and family with something they will cherish for many years.
We then hopped on a Gator and drove on the trails just stopping along the way where we thought would be great spots to take pictures. Totally cool, I must say myself that Gator put my own old golf cart to shame.
