Photography is so much more than getting the perfect shot. It’s getting to know each and every senior, making their personalities shine, documenting an important milestone, and best of all, celebrating female beauty.
What inspired me to become a photographer back in 2011? I don’t have many photos from my childhood, so I made it my mission as a mom to document my family’s life in pictures.
A couple of weeks ago K&K Photography traveled to to a lovely park called Krider Gardens in Middlebury, Indiana. Since I was not from Middlebury, Indiana or have never been to that park, I looked Google it! This park looked very promising in the pictures online. I decided to travel to Middlebury, Indiana one rainy Sunday to scope out the grounds. Yes, I traveled 2 hours to look and make sure the park was going to be perfect for my beautiful couple. Once I arrived I was pleasantly surprised, I was dreaming of how perfect the images were going to be. As I drove into the park the drive is tree covered, I knew right there and then that was one shot I must get. As I parked the car there was so many cool places, I couldn’t concentrate. I was over joyed! It was already worth the drive not to mention a great walk in a neat park! As I walked around I saw a cool bridge that would be perfect for a shot that Elissa told me she wanted from Pinterest. I love making my clients happy! This park really did surpass my expectations, it was so cute with a lot of different spots to stop and take pictures along the trails, I knew with it being winter we wouldn’t have a very long window of opportunity to walk around without getting cold. I would love to go back during the summer months and take pictures there again, there was a beautiful pond that was frozen over that i’m sure is really pretty during the summer months.
Elissa and Dustin are such a cute couple. Dustin kept Elissa warm since it was really cold on that crisp winter day. We took several breaks so that they wouldn’t have cute little red noses! I’m so happy they were such troopers and braved the snow and cold with me. See for yourself below how neat the park is. The saying is true for this little park, Never judge a book by its cover.
