Salem Salem Salem
I just love her name! I was so happy Salem choose me to take her senior pictures. I shot her awesome sister senior pictures last year so I was happy to offer her an amazing senior experience that was unique to her style and personality. Salem and her sister Keygan had very different styles and personalities so I knew it wouldn’t be hard to make sure there pictures would be uniquely different. Besides clothing styles locations was going to be a key component for me to ensure there photoshoots would be different. My style and editing hasn’t changed and I was glad because their products mom chose for Keygan would fit perfect with Salem’s products! When Salem filled out her questionnaire I asked what she would envision for her session? She said she would like it to be very floral and boho, but also comfortable and as far as locations she wanted both fields/nature and Urban type of locations. Those are my favorite kind of sessions because it gives the girls images a lot of variety for their senior pictures. We started by going to one of my favorite spots. It’s not much and sometimes it’s a big flop! That day it was perfect. The pines are just that pines nothing fancy but the simplicity allows for my girls to stand out and shine! 2nd location urban! I love some urban. This location hadn’t been used in YEARS!! We brought it out of retirement. It was fun being back at that location! The 3rd and 4th were flower fields! These fields change week after week. I hadn’t planned on doing 2 flower fields but once we got to the 3rd we soon realized the flowers were so high! Like crazy HIGH! They are above our waist. It was crazy, We took a few shots and then whet to another flower field up the road and i’m glad we did because she got 2 different kind of flower looks to her images. We had to be fast and on our toes because we needed to get to the last location at sunset. The last location was a favorite of mine last year. This location lacked flowers by her session but the grass was so lush and green. It was beautiful! The sun did its thing and it was magical! This session was a favorite of mine that senior season for sure.
