Welcome back! Hope you had a fantastic weekend. We have been having beautiful spring weather finally in the Indiana and am loving every bit of it. As you already know if you have been following my blog I have been busy with glamour session’s which has been so much fun. This glamour session became something that I didn’t even know I could do. They are the most artist images I have ever done, and would be lying if I didn’t say I was shocked at myself! lol

Sharita and I go way back, probably far as babies. We are some form of cousin’s but I have never really known how. maybe I should figure that one out! lol but anyhow we spent a lot of time together growing up from hanging out at school, riding the bus, sleepovers and probably my most favorite would have to be talking on the phone while watching movies, yes at the same time. Our 2 movies I recall watching through the phone was What’s Eating Gilber Grape and welcome to the doll house! Fun Times!! We laughed a lot during those movie, I miss those times.

I asked Sharita two questions and her response is below!

1. How you felt about having your hair and makeup done? The mere fact that this was a glamour shoot was enough for me to get excited. I knew it would be an opportunity to relax and have my hair and makeup professionally done. It was what I like to call some ME time: a chance to be pampered without feeling guilty. After my hair and makeup were done, I recalled a quote that I hold dearly in my heart from two of my role models. Both Tyra Banks and Pamela Anderson said to ‘never waste good hair and makeup’. With that, I was very eager to later spend a night out on the town and show off my new look. I truly felt like a million bucks!

2. How did you feel seeing your pictures for the first time? As I saw my pictures for the first time, I have to say that I was very, very, very impressed with myself. I felt like my pictures were something that I would see in a magazine or on a billboard of a busy highway. It was a breath of fresh air. Seeing those pictures made me conscious of my inner and outer beauty. And again, I didn’t feel guilty for spending so much time in the mirror practicing poses and expressions. The end results have inspired me to continue working towards my passion and hopefully I have inspired someone else to do this too. It seems like I was able to rediscover the love that I have for myself to a new extreme. Every woman should have the opportunity to experience a glamour shoot—whether it be a personal goal in life, to get in touch with your inner and outer beauty, to take a break from your everyday routine and get pampered, or simply because you don’t have any recent photos of yourself. All in all, once you see your photos from K & K Photography, you will feel like a new woman!
