Photography is so much more than getting the perfect shot. It’s getting to know each and every senior, making their personalities shine, documenting an important milestone, and best of all, celebrating female beauty.
What inspired me to become a photographer back in 2011? I don’t have many photos from my childhood, so I made it my mission as a mom to document my family’s life in pictures.
Happy Spring!! Today is the first day of spring but here in Indiana it sure doesn’t feel like it at all. It’s colder this week than it was a few weeks ago. I’m so ready for it to start to feel like spring. Monday I spoke about what I made work in 2012. If you missed that blog post check it out here. I decided that today I would blog about one of my stylized senior photography session’s from 2012 it was mentioned in Monday’s blog post. This was one of my first sessions of 2012 and was also one of my first features! I had so much fun during this stylized senior photography session. This session was the first time I shot downtown Rochester and I fell in love with shooting downtown from this shoot. I also shot at one of my all time favorite location’s. I always recommend this location to my seniors and engagement clients because the light is always beautiful and never disappoints. This post couldn’t come at a better time since I am gearing up for meeting my 2014 senior spoke models this Saturday! I’m so excited to meet the girls and can’t wait to start planning their session.
