It’s never to late to blog my favorite senior pictures from the year. Up today on the blog is finally Jessica’s senior pictures. I was so excited to shoot Jessica’s senior pictures. She had a very casual wardrobe than some of my other seniors so it was so nice to get to photograph something new and different. She also had glasses and she wanted to wear them in a portion of her senior pictures. Jessica was also my first senior to have one dread. Yes, you read that right Jessica had one dread lock and I was obsessed with it and wanted to make sure to get her dread in a few of her pictures while her mom was wanting me to hid it. This past year I have also wanted to make sure to showcase my senior’s personalities throughout their senior pictures. Jessica has a great personalitly and is also an amazing Artist. As photographer i’m also classified as a creative person/artist. For Jessica I wanted to try to show her artistic side by something doing different. My goal was to use nature as my backdrop and canvas. I would use colors to play with emotion and capture our audience attention just like Jessica drawings but in a very different way. We ended her senior picture in a very tall flower field. It was so tall we were very limited in our poses. I planned her session perfect with the sun and as we arrived at the flower field the sun was just starting to set behind the tree’s. It was so beautiful. As a natural light photographer that loves shooting backlit it was magical. You can’t replicate that kind of light in photoshop.
Thank you so much Jessica for allowing me to use my artistic talent on your senior pictures to showcase your personalitly! I look forward to following your feature art pieces in the future.
